Must-Knows 

• This is an 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday 
• This position requires 100% full-time, on-site attendance in Pontiac, MI 
• This is an accelerated position that puts you on the fast track to become a Senior Underwriter 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Collect, review and examine an applicant’s financial history and records 
• Perform risk assessment reports 
• Analyze client’s financial statements and identify effective alternatives to application 
• Make loan approval decisions 
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to investor guidelines, state and federal underwriting lending policies and the required documentation 
• Keep up with changes and adaptations as they occur 
• Provide elite service to internal and external clients 
• Communicate with clients on loan conditions and statuses via phone or video message 
• Manage multiple priorities while building rapport with clients 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 3.0 GPA 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and other internet resources
