Work Schedule:

100% days. 100% FTE, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. 4-10 hour days, with a potential need for future 1:6 weekend rotation with 2 call shifts per week every 6 weeks.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:

• Be an active member of the cross functional team, by by providing comprehensive care to both well and ill adult patients in inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings at University Hospital and UnityPoint Health - Meriter.
• Manage pre & post procedure patients (ie cardiac ablations, device-based procedures, extractions, cardioversions, and implantable loop recorders)
• Perform independent clinic visits (local and regional) for electrophysiology patients. Clinic locations (TBD)

Education:

Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program

If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Masters from Accredited PA program

Licenses and Certifications:

If Nurse Practitioner:

• Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND
• Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care or Family

If Physician Assistant:

* Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND

* Active PA board certification

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have:

* Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
