We are looking for an Industrial Mechanical Maintenance, is safety conscious and willing to grow with the business. This is a role where you will work in a TEAM environment, where safety comes first.

Job description

Experience troubleshooting overhead-cranes, up to 40 Ton capacity, is highly desired.

Under general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic position adds value by performing the necessary installation, maintenance, and repair, of all assigned equipment components and systems.

These tasks include but not limited to, maintaining of process related equipment, mechanical power transmission systems, electric motors, compressors and pumps, hydraulic components, and system.

Daily task includes preventative maintenance, trouble calls, and carrying out project work in all areas of manufacturing.

Basic requirements :

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Responsible for positive interaction and communication with staff, supervisors, and customers.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining positive self-motivation.
• Must have shop knowledge of PLC, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
• Maintaining all documentation required, i.e., drawings, work orders, equipment history, etc.
• Capable of working at elevated heights, i.e., from ladders, staging, elevated platforms, and lifts.

Preferred Requirements :

• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings, schematics and installing, troubleshooting, and repairing these systems.
• At least one year experience in an industrial maintenance environment as a Maintenance Mechanic.
• Possess excellent troubleshooting, fault analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Candidates will be required to demonstrate job-related skills by means of a practical exam. The test is designed to assess the following knowledge :

• Hydraulic & Pneumatic
• Welding & Rigging
• Print Reading
• Power Transmission
• Lubrication
• Pumps and Piping
• Mechanical Maintenance
• Shop Machines, Tools and Equipment
