Position Summary:
The position involves working on a National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) multi-site clinical trial—part of the NIDA clinical trials network. The position entails recruiting and assessing patients at 2 Harris Health System primary care clinics and identifying those with a substance use problem (alcohol, opioid, or stimulant) in order to link them with evidence-based treatment.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant experience in lieu of education.

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
