Job ID: 18111Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL), Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Division, Mission Systems Branch (MSB) is seeking an Information System Engineer to ensure the successful program execution for Distributed Common Ground System- Marine Corps (DCGS-MC) Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) program.Candidate must be detail-oriented with good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. It is critical to be able to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment, be self-motivated, reliable and have the ability to initiate tasks independently. This position is located in Stafford, VA.SDL supports a variety of missions, including NASA's vision to reveal the unknown for the benefit of humankind and the Department of Defense's aim to protect our Nation on the ground, in the air, and in space. In this role, you will work with the Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Lead System Engineer to help ensure that the DCGS-MC GEOINT program is designed, built, and fielded to meet requirements and enable flawless operations. You will be supporting the U.S. government to provide insight into the architecture and multi-level software designs of complex systems. To effectively perform your responsibilities, you will need a working knowledge of the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition lifecycle with focus on assessment of all aspects of engineer design from requirements to the final system integration test plan.
