Position Summary

This role is for an AWS engineer that will operate as a member on one of the core teams responsible for the implementation of Amazon Connect sites. As a contributing member on one of our agile development teams, you will have both the accountability and freedom to build systems that are taking our client to the next level.

Job Duties

• Experience leading technical projects that are customer-facing within Contact Center Technologies.
• Will provide hands-on experience in AWS Lambda, AWS Dynamo, AWS Lex (Voice / Chat Bots), AWS S3, Amazon Connect Streams, AWS CLI Kinesis S3 RDS.
• Is responsible for programming software, such as Python, node.js
• Will contribute to the client's efforts to integrate amazon connect and Salesforce CRM
• Will work within AWS CLI and AWS SDK writing Infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. Writing IAM Roles using AWS security best practices.
• Monitors solutions such as Splunk, Cloud Watch CloudTrail etc.
• Acts as the technical Subject Matter Expert for Amazon connect solution focused on workload automation, risk management, control and audit.
• Designs, develops, and deploys applications and tooling to streamline the delivery and operational reliability for workloads across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Serverless public cloud offerings.
• Documents systems, scripts, and applications, configuration and maintain and update documentation as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 5 years of experience
• 4 or more years industry experience directly working on Amazon Connect.
• 4 years of experience in designing and implementing call routing with dynamic messaging
• 2-3 Years hands on experience in building call flows and IVR within AWS Connect and configuration and Implementation of the Amazon Connect Platform
• 3 years of experience with Github / bitbucket for source / version control.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Experience working with Agile software development environment
• Ability to work independently and with a group of engineers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• AWS Certified Developer Associate – Certification is a plus!
