USPRO is Hiring an Electrical Engineer Near East Hartford, CT
Location: East Hartford, CT (Hybrid)
9/80 work week
Responsibilities:
- Design PCBs, layouts, and schematics
- Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products
- Create Bill of Materials from requirements
- Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time
- Define customer needs and requirements
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes
- Minimum 5 years of applicable experience
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Prior experience designing components for drones/avionics strongly preferred
- Altium/ORCAD proficiency preferred
- Understanding of a specific environment is helpful. (Aerospace, Medical device) Strong knowledge of design analytics, algorithms, and measuring tools.
- Proficient in designing PCBs, layouts and creating Bills of Materials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A creative thinker with good analytical abilities.
- Experience with safety critical systems and Proof of Concept a plus
- Proficient in problem-solving
- Ability to change direction quickly and learn fast as projects cover multiple industries, environments and operating systems.
