USPRO is Hiring an Electrical Engineer Near East Hartford, CT

Electrical Engineer 
Location: East Hartford, CT (Hybrid)
9/80 work week 
Responsibilities:
  • Design PCBs, layouts, and schematics 
  • Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products
  • Create Bill of Materials from requirements
  • Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time
  • Define customer needs and requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of applicable experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Prior experience designing components for drones/avionics strongly preferred
  • Altium/ORCAD proficiency preferred
  • Understanding of a specific environment is helpful. (Aerospace, Medical device) Strong knowledge of design analytics, algorithms, and measuring tools.
  • Proficient in designing PCBs, layouts and creating Bills of Materials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A creative thinker with good analytical abilities.
  • Experience with safety critical systems and Proof of Concept a plus
  • Proficient in problem-solving
  • Ability to change direction quickly and learn fast as projects cover multiple industries, environments and operating systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship
