We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Operations Director.

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.
• Oversee and assist with the implementation of WMS, Automation and various other projects, including planning and communicating change management processes/strategies, etc.
• Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
• Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.
• Work with project managers in the development of financial and budgetary plans
• Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.
• Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.
• Draw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
• Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
• Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.
• Adhere to the company’s policies and standards and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.
• Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• MBA or equivalent preferred
• 8 or more years of experience with WMS required. Experience with Oracle preferred.
• Successful completion/implantation of warehouse automation project(s) required. Autostore experience preferred.
• 3 or more years of experience in break-fix, repair, service and warranty or reverse logistics experience preferred.
• 3 or more years of experience in high-tech environment working directly with a client.
• 7 or more years of experience within supply chain required.
• 7 or more years of experience in a 3PL setting preferred.
• 3 or more years of project management experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strategic thinker and hands-on problem solver that possesses integrity and leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively delegate and build a culture of accountability for results.
• Experience driving lean manufacturing, continuous process improvement, and/or six sigma initiatives.
• Proven ability to develop, lead and culturally drive an environment of high productivity and cost management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.
