General Plant Services Carpenter

• Adhere to all safety / housekeeping requirements within a manufacturing setting.
• Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as

required by supervision.

Adaptable to scheduling changes as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

Ability to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and

housekeeping rules.

• Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to operate tools including but not limited to : circular saw, hand drill, jig saw, air

nailer, reciprocating saw, table saw, miter saw, etc.

• Ability to read and use blueprints and floor plans.
• Ability to assemble and install pre-made cabinetry.
• Ability to install ceiling grid and tile.
• Ability to install various doors and hardware.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
• Meet the essential physical requirements of the position.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
