We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Data Entry Specialist, Intern to work out of Colorado Springs, CO.

PAY : Part-time hourly, $20 / hr

This job is approximately 3 months in duration and does not include a benefits package.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• Provide administrative support to technical lead and team member.
• Enters data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information or by importing Excel spreadsheets.
• Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. Verifies entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data;

combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.

Additional duties as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

1-year relevant work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
• Ability to communicate with other personnel and coordinate work and meeting schedules with the Microsoft Office environment.
• Ability to receive and understand instructions and carry out those instructions in a swift and efficient matter.
• Ability to learn a new data entry software and analysis processes.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION :

High school diploma, an additional 2 years of work experience may be substituted for the high school diploma.
