Compensation Analyst Your Role The Compensation Analyst strives to be a trusted advisor who partners cross-functionally to drive business value and results. In this role, they advance the mission of the company, live out the company values, and create a cohesive picture of Ardent Mills work by shaping its narrative both internally and externally. Through a strategic approach, this role ensures Ardent Mills is positioned for success, its value is felt and understood by all stakeholders, and its reputation is protected. As a strategic counselor, the Compensation Analyst’s involvement with the entirety of the business –– gives a wide-angle perspective used to optimize opportunities, mitigate risk and achieve the company’s goals. At Ardent Mills, the compensation team operates under a set of shared goals and a clear picture of the results we pursue. This role will report to the Compensation Manager and is a key member of the HR Service Delivery team. This team member will be focused on general compensation administration for US and Canada to include overseeing annual market survey analysis and benchmark recommendations, the annual merit process, and on-going metric analytics. In addition, this role will be responsible to contribute to the development and administration of Company policies and procedures for compensation plans to ensure equity for all team members and compliance with federal and state legal requirements. Your Responsibilities: Ensure accurate job documentation and conduct market analysis of company jobs to determine competitive positioning Participate and analyze results of external compensation surveys Keep current on market trends and practices and recommend process improvements to support the overall compensation philosophy Maintain excellent knowledge of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure compliance Resolve issues on titling, levelling, and pay based on a consistent methodology and structure Participate in annual salary administration programs Lead special compensation projects as needed Essential Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Finance, or other relevant field Minimum of 3 years of progressive human resources or compensation experience Ability to perform work under minimal supervision Ability to take complex issues and problems and present them in a manageable and digestible format Ability to influence and drive positive change as an effective business partner Excellent written and verbal communications skills Highly proficient in conducting compensation research, analyzing information and data, problem solving and presenting findings in a concise format Good to Have: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Workday and Report writing skills Hourly workforce experience Other considerations: Role can be 100% remote or can have hybrid schedule in office in Denver, CO At Ardent Mills, everyone matters and everyone has a voice. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $69,590.29 - $92,816.06, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - MIP, 5% Annual: Individual Target.
