We are looking for a groundskeeper (laborer) for the Seward Military Resort in Seward Alaska. Position: Recreation Assistant (Alaska Resort) Job Details: Typical hours are 8 am to 4:30 PM 5 days per week. Approximate dates of employment are 15 May
  • 15 September 2024. Free Housing may be provided on a space-available basis and the city of Seward has a fantastic public transportation system making it easy to get by without a car! Up to 25% recruitment and retention incentive may be authorized for positions offering at least a guarantee of 10 hours per week. Duties: Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery. Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc. Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.
