Workforce Scheduling Remote Job Summary The Integration Developer will assist in constructing and implementing a health data management exchange (HDME) solution to support strategic and tactical business needs that are well aligned to meet the current and evolving needs of the Enterprise. The individual will be responsible for maintaining data engineering solutions and processes to enable data collection, data integration, governance and standardization as well as maintaining processes for ensuring data validity and consistency across authoritative systems and other data consuming and data producing systems. The primary responsibilities of the incumbent will be Health Share applications for clinical data integration. Requirements EDUCATION Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. In lieu of degree five (5) years related experience will be considered. LICENSING/CERTIFICATION Any certification specializing in data management, data architecture, data modeling or healthcare preferred. EXPERIENCE Three (3) years experience in healthcare IT, preferably in a health insurance setting. Fluency with the HL7 2.x file format (ADT and clinical messages) and a thorough understanding of how interface development projects work Experience with CCD and C-CDA documents desired Experience with X12 file formats desired Experience with file parsing (XML, XSLT, etc.) Comfort level with object-oriented programming concepts desired Experience with VA VistA and FileMan desired Experience with MuleSoft desired Caché / Ensemble / HealthShare experience desired ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Skills Responsibilities Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives, Coordinates, and administers key process improvements to HDME implementations, Creates documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, work instructions and corrections, Defines and performs HDME system backups and recovery procedures, Implements policies, procedures, and technologies (including firewalls) to ensure HDME system security, Installs, coordinates, and troubleshoots HDME-related products, Interprets the manuals prepared for users to describe operating procedures, Participates in design and review of new applications and integration strategies of HDME systems, Performs data audits and quality control measures, Responds to inquiries relating to HDME from providers and internal departments Certifications Security Requirements This position is identified as level three (3). This position must ensure the security and confidentiality of records and information to prevent substantial harm, embarrassment, inconvenience, or unfairness to any individual on whom information is maintained.
