Clear Channel Outdoor Job Summary: This role is an integral part of our growing and dynamic Fixed Asset accounting and reporting team. This role will assist in month-end close duties, reporting, analysis, and financial statement commentary. Month-end close duties will include Journal Entries and account reconciliations. This role is critical to the day-to-day operations of the company and overall capital project management. Role will include daily interaction with Real Estate Managers, Finance managers, Operations, and Accounting. Responsibilities: Assist with Month-End close, including Journal Entries, Reconciliations, and Expense commentary Comprehensive understanding of company Fixed Asset policy and Internal Controls Cross reference reports, invoices, and data research for accuracy Identify, document, research and reconcile any discrepancies; as well as research and problem solve Receives and provides proper explanations to calls with questions from market team members Process and review invoices that meet capitalization standards set forth in company fixed assets policy. Fulfill and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics. Facilitate monthly transaction accounting and month-end close reporting. Communicate and work effectively with employees in other regions. Generate month end reporting and provide analysis and commentary where requested. Ensuring system compliance with all company guidelines Run queries and analysis supporting company initiatives Assist with data mining to aid in high quality reports and analyses Reconcile fixed asset accounts and maintain proper roll-forwards Assist with other accounting, finance, and reporting duties as needed May coordinate and prepare, requests for management reports and other related data requests required for internal and external reporting. Job Requirements: Education Bachelor’s Degree of Accounting, Required Skills General Ledger and Journal Entry experience required (Minimum of 1-2 years required) Proficient in relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) including Formulas This person must be able to work with the pressure of regular deadlines This position requires a person who is highly organized and pays great attention to detail Mathematical reasoning skills are also required, in addition to proficiency in necessary computer skills. Excellent analytical and independent thinking skills Must exercise judgment and ability to work objectively and independently Must be able to prioritize, problem solve, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information Must possess strong communication skills with an ability to collaborate with upper management Proficient in Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly; experience with PeopleSoft Cognos, TM1, Salesforce, Quattro or Workday preferred Qualifications: Fixed Asset accounting experience Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, collaboration, and presentation skills Previous experience demonstrating change and support for innovation and for organizational changes needed to improve the organizations effectiveness Strong quantitative background Competencies Strategic Agility: Sees ahead clearly; can anticipate future consequences and trends accurately; has broad knowledge and perspective’ is future oriented; can articulately paint credible pictures and visions of possibilities; can create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans.
