Clear Channel Outdoor Job Summary: The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the overall transactional execution of CAPEX & OPEX purchases for Direct and Indirect Procurement categories. This position will integrate closely with the procurement sourcing managers, cross-functional teams and the field organization in order to execute strategic initiatives to achieve planned financial and operational improvements. Job Responsibilities Obtains scope and purchase requirements from business units, drafts & facilitates RFQ’s & RFP’s, including supplier selection/award. Executes and manages purchase orders in accordance to supplier quotes and/or corporate contracts for specific goods and services. Works with suppliers to ensure delivery timeframes are met. Manages internal & external (supplier) inventory levels to establish re-order points and ensure we have product to meet internal product demand. Conducts analysis and cost comparison of supplier quotes & proposals to facilitates decision making process. Facilitates the new supplier onboarding process, including catalog setup, policy and procedures and compliance. Innovates and implements new processes and procedures that are focused on improving efficiencies within the supply chain of the organization. Aligns tracking of department initiatives, and effectively illustrates improved efficiencies and savings. Manages the company MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operations) category, executing a centralized ordering process and procedure for select commodity products (example: paint). Utilizes available tools to identify areas of cost reduction and supports cost reduction initiatives for the business. Effectively manages supplier performance by conducting routine business reviews; develop new suppliers and/or alternative solutions. Establishes, maintains and reports KPI’s for both suppliers and categories. Performs other tasks as assigned. Job Qualifications Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience. M.B.A. preferred. Work Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement or consulting in a multi-business environment, and category management and negotiations. A diversified background with exposure to and/or experience in operations, IT technology, finance, and supply chain; media and advertising experience preferred. Skills Understands key contract terms and ability to negotiate agreeable terms. Demonstrated ability to produce quality output through prioritization of efforts; focusing on quality of product and risk mitigation. Must be familiar with contract language and be able to effectively negotiate terms over a wide range of product and service categories. Knowledgeable of industry-leading sourcing practices and operating procedures. Presentation– Preparing and delivering presentations in a variety of formal and informal settings, engaging the audience and managing the logistical components of the presentation such as the location and technology. Physical Demands The demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Employee must have the ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours a day and complete tasks requiring repetitive use of hands. Employee must have the ability to see written documents, computer screens and to adjust focus. This job is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
