Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: Procure and maintain inventory of critical parts and consumable materials in support of maintenance and production operations. Utilizes computerized inventory control system (SAP) to identify, order, and track MRO parts and materials. This role will support the procurement of parts and operating supplies for the Building Operations, Maintenance, Molding, Process, Packaging, Distribution, and Repack Operations and Capital Projects. Responsibilities will include managing competitive pricing from vendors and scheduling, tracking, and receiving deliveries on time. Initiates system and cost saving improvements in managing operating supplies and parts. Process and record purchase requisitions and purchase orders, perform physical counts of inventory and reconcile cycle counts. Assist mechanics and operators with identifying and acquiring parts and materials. Perform other duties as assigned. Works closely with the Maintenance Lead and reports to the Plant Engineering Manager. In this role, you will: Procure, receive, manage and maintain parts and operating supplies for the plant operations Efficiently operate and manage central parts storeroom following established practices procedures and standards Manage spare part inventories and conduct cycle counting, usage, and yield factors Maintain the P-Card system for maintenance supply procurement for the plant. Manage competitive pricing from vendors and system transactions in SAP What we look for: Experience with SAP in a Procurement environment (Desired) Experience with interacting with and managing vendors and suppliers Self starter Leadership and support of WCO principles, programs, and objectives. Organizational skills; ability to develop a work plan and execute against it. Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities Strong PC skills including MS Office, Excel, and SAP Ability/capability to manage transactions, research, and resolve issues within the SAP purchasing system Comfortable with initiating and adapting to change 1-5 years purchasing experience We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
