Who we’re looking for: Wolfspeed’s Materials Business is seeking a Logistics Technician to provide administrative and clerical support specifically related to supply chain and Equipment Team procurement department activities. As member of the Equipment Team, this position will maintain files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders and other related documentation. Maintains information on computer systems. Assists in expediting orders. May assist buyers in contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates. May develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items. Prepares standard requests for quotation. Assignments may require initiative regarding pricing revisions, order cancellations, discontinued items, acceptable substitutes, delivery date revisions and invoice discrepancies. This posting is for a position located at Wolfspeed's new Farmer's Branch, Texas Epitaxy Facility. This new site will establish our multi-site epi footprint with initial ramp beginning in late 2024. The person in this role will be permanently assigned to the Farmer's Branch, TX location but should be prepared to report to Wolfspeed's Durham, NC headquarters for on-site training approximately 2-3 times for ~2 week long periods. The Day-to-Day: Provide exceptional Customer Service to our internal customers by responding to emails and calls with courtesy and urgency Submit Purchase Requisitions for Equipment component and assembly repair, spares, and consumables. Contribute to maintaining accurate Inventory, including participating in Cycle Counting processes. Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, equipment spares and consumables. Packages and prepares parts for shipment to vendors. Maintains inventory of parts in repair and cleaning loops. Suggests min/max level based on consumption and vendor lead times. Interact with vendors in all aspects of repair or cleaning cycles. This Job is Right for You if You Have: Associates Degree or 2-year certificate or equivalent experience Passionate, self-motivator, driven to achieve business objectives Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) Self-starter with strong personal work ethic Microsoft computer skills The successful candidate must be self-directed and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time and wear full clean room attire. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift and pallet jack. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the semiconductor Industry and Wafer Processing Equipment.
