Here’s the Gist: Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. Work with management to address all aspects of commodity management, including procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability. The Day-to-Day: Manage internal/external supplier relationships for assigned commodity Understand market dynamics Develop and execute long term commodity strategy Manage and prioritize cost reduction programs and business continuity efforts Lead contract negotiations Execute RFP/RFQs as necessary Oversight of supplier forecasting activities This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements): Bachelor of Science Degree 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.
