Here’s the Gist: Wolfspeed is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to join the Facilities Engineering team at our new location in Siler City, NC – the world’s largest silicon carbide materials factory. You will be responsible for CAD/BIM designs, creating conceptual designs for projects and updating AutoCAD and Revit models to as built conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience with different disciplines including but not limited to CSA, MEP, gas & chemical, high purity water, waste and reclamation systems. Your knowledge and ambition for drafting excellence will help us achieve our quality goals. The Day-to-Day Part of the document control team, the CAD/BIM designer will work with engineers, project team, and the document control manager to create drafted or modeled documentation. Collaborate with engineers, providing drawings from conceptual engineering sketches and markups. Develop and update AutoCAD and Revit documentation and drawing sets. Ensure revision and change control of as-built documents Perform layout and P&ID design review using Bluebeam or other software Improve LOD for Wolfspeed BIM following global standards. This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements): 5 years’ experience with BIM/CAD in industrial manufacturing setting. Associate’s Degree or Certification in BIM/CAD.
