Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: The Manager of Government Affairs will oversee legislative and regulatory policy matters, offering support to business units, and collaborating with internal and external partners to craft overarching policy objectives. This role involves the development and administration of engagement programs, analysis of broad governmental policies, and the establishment of partnerships. Additionally, will contribute to internal communications within the Government Affairs department, fostering cohesion and alignment across the organization. In this role, you will: Analyze state and federal governmental policies impacting Clorox brand and manufacturing operations. Identify emerging trends and issues that cross divisions (and products) and form strategic alliances as appropriate. Supervise legislative and political trends, compile reports, and recommend actions. Establish and maintain positive relationships with key public policy makers at all levels, including coordinating facility tours and other face-to-face meetings. Monitor and ensure compliance with laws and regulations for government relations, including lobbying reports. Provide input to the government affairs department's internal communication. This includes quarterly reports, issue reports, and client department presentations. Support the Supply Chain Organization on manufacturing issues including in-state support for plants and with state agencies on economic development incentives. #LI-Hybrid What we look for: Experience 3 to 5 years of proven experience in government affairs, public affairs, community relations, or related fields. Strong understanding of government relations, political processes, and legislative environments. Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements related to government relations activities Skills Excellent organizational and project management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
