US United States Space Force Forces is Hiring a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems) Near Peterson, CO

Duties

The United States Space Force (USSF) at Peterson Space Force Base is searching for a Personnel Systems Manager, HQ SpOC/DCG-S/S1KK (NH-0201-03, GS5-11 equivalent).
Description:
Provides advice requiring a high level of technical skill in military and civilian personnel systems and broad personnel management knowledge. Provides advice characterized by breadth of approach and consideration from the total personnel management viewpoint. Advises on procedural requirements for correcting complex problems related to the data and business rules of military and civilian personnel systems. Advises Military Personnel Flight (MPF) and Civilian Personnel Office (CPO) management and appropriate directorate personnel of any known data/system discrepancies. Conducts analysis to detect both system and managerial problem areas and identifies major trends that require attention.Analyzes, interprets, and reports findings of projects; Performs comprehensive data analyses to obtain accurate statistics, determine deficiencies, develop data reliability and validity programs, and implement new business processes and modify existing processes. Manages and tracks personnel system and pay issues using Human Resource Applications. Develops recommendations to resolve substantive problems and issues of effectiveness and efficiency within the Personnel community.

  • Military Personnel Data Systems and Human Resource Applications experience
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Suite and Oracle Based Applications
  • Collaborative team player working in a dynamic and diverse office environment

Requirements

Conditions of Employment

  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • This position is eligible for telework 2-4 days a pay period.
  • PCS and Incentives funding is not available.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
  • Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
  • May be required travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
  • May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
