US United States Fleet Forces Command is Hiring a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST Near Fort Meade, MD

Duties

  • You will collaborate and assist members of the Contract Management Review Board evaluating overall effectiveness of the acquisition and financial processes.
  • You will act as the IPT Financial Management subject matter expert to the team providing advice and guidance in ensuring integration of financial rules and regulations into the development of program schedules.
  • You will apply advanced analysis techniques to financial data that includes detailed review of budget requirements, interpreting financial and budgetary policies.
  • You will develop analytical tools using accepted accounting principles and methods to monitor and track incoming funds.
  • You will manage execution of funds from multiple funding sources through parallel processes at multiple classification levels.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing a wide variety of analytical duties related to budget execution including: 1. Applying acquisition life-cycle process and support development and preparation of acquisition documents; 2. Provide advice and guidance in the integration of financial rules and regulations into the development of program schedules; 3. Apply advanced analysis techniques to financial data which includes detailed review of budget requirements; 4. Exercise sound technical judgement for resolution of difficult and complex financial management funding problems; 5. Develops analytical tools using accepted accounting principles and methods to monitor and track incoming funds; 6. Tracks and monitors invoices, posting expenditures in command databases based on execution data in financial systems.
