We are looking to expand our Project Management team with adding (2) Project / Permit Coordinators. In this role, you will create and maintain project documentation and ensure that the project stays within budget and scope, and on schedule. The PC will perform risk management to minimize issues, problem solve, and identify project milestones.

You will be responsible for…

  • Reading and understanding plans and project contracts to ensure materials are correct and onsite.
  • Creating and maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, and field team members.
  • Permit / NMA: Research and identify the required permits for specific projects. Prepare and submit permit applications to relevant regulatory agencies. Monitor the status of permit/ NMA applications and ensure timely approvals.
  • Communication and Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and regulatory authorities. Establish and maintain positive relationships with permitting agencies. Communicate effectively with internal teams to gather necessary information for permit applications.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and organized records of all permits and related documentation. Ensure that all permits are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide support during inspections to verify compliance with permit conditions.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with operations and design teams to understand permit requirements for each project. Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for permit submissions and approvals. Alert teams to potential permitting issues and propose solutions.
  • Policy and Regulation Monitoring: Stay informed about changes in regulations and policies that may impact the permitting process. Update internal teams on any new requirements or regulations affecting permits.
  • Ensure all communication across full scope of project is documented in CRM (ex: client, cross-departmental collaboration, permitting agency communications, etc.)
  • Attend all project meetings.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledgeable with quality, health and safety standards
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Motivated and able to multi-task within multiple projects at a time
  • High school diploma or equivalent – Bachelors preferred.
  • 3 years of previous project administration or field construction experience
  • Experience in managing projects that involved change management and other business efficiency related items.
  • Experience in solar operation and/or sales construction experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet use, Oracle experience a plus.
  • Must bring a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization.
