We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Developer to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The Salesforce Administrator/Developer supports projects of varying size and complexity. The main objective of this position is to provide administrative and development knowledge in the Salesforce area and support multiple instances of Salesforce across the U.S. Signal organization. The project team works with an agile project methodology. This position is required to work seamlessly with IT stakeholders, business leaders, and external suppliers across regions, business units, and domains involving deployment of new technologies and capabilities.

Functions/Responsibilities:

• Develop end to end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization - APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components etc.
• Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth/SAML.
• Research Salesforce.com capabilities and third-party strategic technology solutions, following corporate strategy and business requirements; perform gap analysis and aim for greater business impact.
• Build Salesforce solutions on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and other instances
• Adhere to defined coding standards and develop well-structured, maintainable and easy to understand code.
• Understand Salesforce security and apply the Organization-Wide Default, sharing patterns, profiles or permissions to applications
• Model data structures following the existing schema and naming convention.
• Apply standard methodologies and experience to build Salesforce.com applications
• Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules and email Alerts
• Develop Test classes and automation to validate business logic and avoid production issues
• Ability to effectively debug and resolve issues and/or defects which may be reported as a result of faults in the production system
• Migrate changes from development to sandbox to production environment(s) using CI/CD technologies like Salesforce DX and Gearset
• Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze assign user stories, identify/resolve gaps in functional user stories/business requirements, provide user-story estimations
• Assist in writing technical approach and design documentation as required
• Collaborate with team members to apply abstractions and service-orientation to foster scalability
• Work closely with other developers in the team including business analyst, QA analyst and project managers
• Other projects as assigned by management

• Experience with Salesforce Lightning

• Experience with Salesforce CPQ
• Exposure Agile processes
• In?depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC and have successfully expanded on those capabilities using custom code and/or integration with external systems and third-party offerings
• Experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform which includes - Lightning components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex and declarative platform tools (Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder).
• Experience with Visualforce development
• Experience with Salesforce mobile development
• Experience with 3rd party integrations
• Experience debugging components and code built by other developers
• Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard Salesforce.com reporting functionality
• Proven ability to utilize Salesforce.com as a sales analysis tool
• Strong problem-solving skills, data and software applications
• Strong communication skills
• General concept of CRM

Education:

A Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• 2 years’ experience working in a Salesforce Developer role
• Previous experience working with large enterprise software environments is strongly preferred
• Previous application development in a team environment is preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

This position operates in a variety of environments. The majority of the time is spent in a professional office environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment.

• Required Salesforce Certifications — Administrator and Platform Developer I or JavaScript Developer I
• Preferred Salesforce Certifications - CPQ Specialist
