Evaluates, installs, maintains, adjusts, and repairs office equipment in the Senate community. Opens, updates, and closes service tickets. Operates and maintains a variety of office equipment. Detects and diagnoses issues of office equipment. Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves network connection issues. Performs, coordinates, and monitors the receiving, issuance, delivery, transfer, activation, installation and suspension of equipment, parts, and services; documents serial numbers; maintains accurate records in relevant software/Web applications, spreadsheets, and databases. Coordinates the disposition of non-serviceable or obsolete equipment, wipes data from equipment prior to disposal. Coordinates with SAA off-site warehouse for removal and storage of excess equipment. Tests and evaluates equipment to determine usability within Senate offices, creating impartial test criteria and documenting test results. Advises customers concerning equipment replacement. Coordinates the installation and delivery of new or loaner office equipment; assists and instructs Senate staff on proper operation and utilization of equipment.
