Summary

You will serve as a Program Analyst for the Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience, Disaster Policy, Planning, and Partnerships Division in Washington, District of Columbia. This position is provides advice and assistance on a variety of analytical issues including long-range planning, procedural and policy development, and policy implementation.

Requirements/Conditions of Employment

• A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required.
• You may be required to complete a one-year probationary period.

Qualifications

If qualifying based on related unpaid (e.g. volunteer service) experience, you must provide hours worked per week and beginning/ending dates (mm/yyyy to mm/yyyy).

Experience:

GS-13: To qualify you must have at least 1 full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-12 level in the Federal service that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skill, and ability to perform successfully in this position. This experience may have been gained in a Non-Federal service position. In addition, this Specialized Experience must demonstrate the following:

• Experience using analytical skills and applying a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate program or organizational needs.
• Knowledge of a wide range of health, safety, security directives, and/or environmental policy requirements related to disaster response or emergency management.
• Experience in collaborating or fostering relationships between Federal, State, Tribal and/or local governments, and/or non-governmental organizations, and/or the public/private sector, and their response and recovery mechanisms and authorities.
• Knowledge of emergency management and related directives, policies, regulations, procedures, and/or methods.

Pay: $117,962.00 - $153,354.00 per year
