Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts. This is a key role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of components.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and write CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
- Set up and operate CNC machines including milling machines and stamping presses
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize machining processes
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality control standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines as they arise
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation
- Experience with stamping presses, milling machines, and other machining equipment
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks
- Understanding of logic controllers and their functions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
