US Lumber Group is Hiring a Warehouse Associate Near Big Lake, MN
Job Summary:
Responsible, at various points, for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, transporting
and otherwise handling products that come into and move out of the warehouse.
Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and
productively with little supervision. Individuals must follow U.S. Lumber safety
policies and procedures at all times.
- Safely operate forklifts or other machinery (chainsaw) in order to complete
and transporting material.
- Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
- Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct
- Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees in
- Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to
- Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
- Follow U.S. Lumber safety policies and procedures and encourage others to do
- Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products
- Must learn how to use a chainsaw and Holtec Industrial Saw
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Accurately pull daily orders.

- Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items:
- Responding to public address system announcements, directions from
- Walking and carrying merchandise

- Due to forklifts and other heavy equipment traveling through the Warehouse,

Required cognitive and psychological characteristics:
- Be personable, articulate, and knowledgeable with the ability to work well with
- Ability to learn skills quickly with a mature and service oriented attitude
- Must have a high level of comprehension of, and be able to communicate in, the
- Must be process oriented and able to take direction with the ability to think and

- Forklift skills with appropriate updated certification.
- Ability to meet the required schedule for work.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience.
- Prior lumber experience desired. Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred, but not required.
- Must have basic math and analytical skills
- Must be computer literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Team Lead/Shift supervisor experience is preferred.
- Self-starter, pro-active and able to take initiative.
- Employment at U.S. Lumber Group, LLC. is on an at-will basis.
