This position supports the delivery of Agile War-Winning Capabilities in the Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Air Delivered Capabilities Directorate, providing financial management services to personnel, programs, support missions, associates, and external customers for the AFMC. This is a non-supervisory responsible for analysis, formulation, and planning of a multi-billion-dollar portfolio across the Future Years Defense Program for Acquisition and Sustainment efforts. Position reports to the Operation's Division Branch Chief for FM, reporting three levels below the Director. The assigned Directorate consists of six Divisions (two are geographically separated locations) with approximately 300 military and civilian personnel. The Directorate financial portfolio consists of multi-year funding, to include Investment, Research & Development, Test and Evaluation and Procurement funding), Expense (Operations and Maintenance), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Reimbursable funding.
MAJOR DUTIES:
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
This is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. DoD FM Level 2 or Alternate Professional Certification (as identified by OUSD(C) is required or must be obtained in 24 months. This position also requires the employee to engage in acquisition continuous learning activities achieving 60 Continuing Education Training (CET) hours every 24 months.
The employee must meet, or be capable of meeting, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Business Financial Management Practitioner (APDP Level 2 prior to Oct 2022) certification requirements applicable to the career category designated on the position description within policy timeframe. This position also requires the employee to engage in acquisition continuous learning activities achieving 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLP) every 24 months.
