US Commander, Navy Installations is Hiring a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN Near San Diego, CA
Duties
- You will requisitions items to replenish stocks, including office supplies, obtain substitutes, and acquire new products.
- You will conduct extensive and exhaustive research of catalog databases to locate more cost effective, available substitutes and new producls.
- You will retrieve data and uses data to respond to variety of customer, program review and vendor inquiries.
- You will input screening requests to obtain logistics data on existing national stock numbers.
- You will select and assemble items for shipment, local delivery, and staging of project material.
- You will store incoming material, and must have skill in stocking, palletizing, arranging and rotating items according to height, width, and weight limitations.
- You will conduct physical inventories and recording of both appropriated (APF) and non-appropriated fund (NAF) stock items and fixed assets for bachelor housing.

However, some work requires working In a warehousing environment, which involves moderate risks or discomforts and possiblllty of cuts, bruises from handling material. Will occasionally be required to work In hot, drafty, and unheated work area and will be exposed to dust, dirt, or fumes.
