Apply Air Force (AF) military rated aviator experience to analyze, develop and evaluate detailed requirements, plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation of assigned major command programs F-35 Lightning & F-22 Raptor sustainment and development 5th generation Aircraft Software and Hardware development and evaluation, and multiple classified programs.
Develop aircrew and/or aircraft/training device policy and standards for safe operations of a variety of aircraft assigned to the command; plan, coordinate, and implement operation plan (OPLAN) tasking; and develop long-range planning for the acquisition of advanced weapon systems to support command missions.
Use Air Force military rated aviator knowledge to analyze problems created by the incompatibility of future programs and initiates corrective action.
Prepare detailed plans, budgets, and schedules for assigned major programs and/or participate with management in fiscal planning.
Prepare and deliver oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff service functions and activities to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned program(s).
Testing Designated Position:
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
