UrbanTech is a structural engineering firm based out of New York and is currently working on many exciting projects in the Metropolitan Area. UrbanTech made a name for itself within the industry working with contractors to help build and repair some of the region's vital transportation infrastructure.
UrbanTech is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our growing team as a project manager to participate in the design of transportation and building projects. Job duties will include direct communication with the client, developing preliminary schemes, directing a design team to develop construction documents, controlling budget and schedule, construction administration, and business development in the form of proposal writing. An opportunity to join a talented team with potential for rapid advancement as the firm continues to grow is waiting for the right candidate.
Applicant shall have 10 Years of experience in the construction industry. Must be a registered professional engineer in New York with experience as a Project Manager. Must have knowledge of New York DOB Procedures and coordinating with public agencies preferred, but not required: NJDOT, NJTP, NJTransit, PANYNJ, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, TBTA, etc. Must also have Steel Concrete Buildings Design experience (Residential and Commercial), Knowledge of standard codes and specifications (AASHTO, AISC, ACI, AREMA, IBC). Proficiency using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD for developing final construction drawings. Revit proficiency is a plus.
