Job Title : Warehouse Lead
Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining a high level of organization.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a variety of tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
Package and Ship Items : Efficiently and accurately package items for shipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Operate Seat Down Forklift for Long Items (10 ft) : Safely operate a forklift to move and transport long items within the warehouse.
Ensure the proper handling and storage of oversized products.
Unload and Load Semi Trucks : Supervise the loading and unloading of semi-trucks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
Collaborate with team members to streamline the loading and unloading process.
Maintain Warehouse Cleanliness and Organization : Implement and enforce cleanliness and organization standards within the warehouse.
Regularly conduct inspections to identify and address any safety or organization concerns.
Customer Interaction : Answer incoming phone calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Light Drilling and Cutting of Metal Products : Utilize basic drilling and cutting tools to prepare or modify metal products as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling tools and equipment.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with a focus on shipping, receiving, and forklift operation.
- Familiarity with seat-down forklifts and ability to handle long items (10 ft).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to perform light drilling and cutting of metal products.
- Basic computer skills for order tracking and communication.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Salary : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
