The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and others throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to work as a Program Assistant to support our St. Clair County Outreach center in collaboration with the Centreville Citizens for Change (CCC).
The assistant will closely with the ULSTL Divisional Operating Officer, CCC Board of Director, Community organizer, and other committee members, to identify and provide general office support for CCC. Duties include answering questions and concerns, providing information and assistance as requested, scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, planning events, reporting calendar activities for use, and participating in mandatory monthly CCC Community and Board of Directors meetings.

The above knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma. At least one year of experience in administrative/customer service is required, and college coursework in secretarial/administrative assistant or related field is desirable.
