Upwork has partnered with one of their enterprise clients. They are one of the largest and most trusted Home Delivery Provider to veterinarians, we source quality medications, over-the-counter health care products and pet foods directly from the manufacturers and ship them right to clients’ front doors.

They are currently looking for a Business Analyst that has experience using Oracle ERP.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with and work alongside other IT and business areas to ensure a properly configured and maintained ERP/EPM systems.
• Make recommendations for improving systems and processes, by working with other analysts and business to develop and manage processes for continued advancement of the company's use of Oracle Cloud Applications while establishing best practices.
• Prepares technical reports by analyzing and summarizing the information and trends.
• Continuous focus on learning the business and leveraging that knowledge to drive better implementation of current and future projects in addition to providing oversight to project teams for system maintenance and patching events.
• Interact regularly with existing or potential stakeholders and users to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery. Advocate on behalf of stakeholder’s and represent clients' needs as appropriate to senior management.
• Achieve objectives by working cross-functionally and collaboratively. Contribute information and recommendations to inform strategic plans.
• Collaborate with Oracle Support to remediate any active current Service Requests and future Service Requests.
• Actively seek out and develop solutions to challenges that prevent Vetsource from achieving our potential.
• Documentation of current business processes.
• End user support and training.
• Other duties/projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management or equivalent job related experience.
• Background in ERP systems is preferred.
• Willing to consistently take on new challenges.
• Able to follow through.
• Able to make sound judgement decisions and know when to ask their manager for assistance.
• Capable of assisting with process improvement projects.
• A strong communicator with interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen and communicate information in a clear, calm, and concise manner.
• Able to demonstrate sound de-escalation and conflict resolution skills.
• An individual with strong organizational and time management skills with ability to work independently.
• Someone with excellent writing skills and great attention to detail.
• Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others.
• Self- motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow personally.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent with computer skills required; experience using email, instant message, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint as well as the ability to learn how to navigate unfamiliar systems or programs quickly.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
