Upward On is Hiring a Lead Sales Coach Near Morris, NJ

 About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity for a Lead Sales Coach to join one of the country's leading real estate brands. The Lead Sales Coach is responsible for the design and implementation of the Sales Associates' coaching and training as well as the overall training curriculum by taking an active role in the facilitation of training program content and materials. In this position, the Lead Sales Coach will deliver training programs to Sales Associates companywide to provide them with the information they need to be successful. The Lead Sales Coach is expected to embrace and fully support all Company initiatives and the Company's products and services.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Trains, coaches, and develops all Sales Associates to enable them to maximize their effectiveness and production
    • Designs, develops, and delivers core curriculum programs in alignment with Company objectives and initiatives
    • Facilitates large group virtual training sessions with the goal of training and developing Sales Associates' skills to enable them to maximize their effectiveness and production
    • Delivers core curriculum programs (new Sales Associate training, Lead Network Orientation, Rental Network Certification, etc.) in alignment with Company objectives and initiatives
    • Maintains a high level of energy and enthusiasm when facilitating classes with the goal of inspiring and keeping the audience engaged
    • Manages and facilitates training programs and/or workshops (e.g., Writing a Contract, Buyer Consultation, and Pricing Workshops) for all experienced level associates
    • Works with the Training team to create approaches to training that stimulate Sales Associates’ participation in training programs
    • Occasionally provides support in the form of answering questions from the field while other Training Facilitator is conducting a session
    • Keeps current with the Company online training and tools and the Company products and services
    • Acts in recorded videos designed at training the Sales Associates for online self-paced trainings
    • Works with the Curriculum Design team to review and revise content and materials for new and existing training programs, materials, and sales tools as required
    • Keeps current with changes in the field of training and development, studies, and becomes proficient at new training theories and techniques
    • Attends and participates in regional and corporate meetings as required
    • Facilitates training in sales offices on occasion as requested
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
    • Real Estate License preferred
    • Valid driver’s license required
    • Broker’s License is a plus
    • A minimum of three (3) years of real estate sales experience preferred
    • Training experience preferred
    • Excellent presentation skills; ability to present in front of a webcam with a large and diverse audience viewing on the other end
    • Must have proven coaching, listening, presentation, time management, and people skills and be able to hold one-on-one meetings
    • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Ability to provide direct feedback and hold people accountable
    • Must be an efficient problem solver and critical thinker under pressure
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent time management, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Strong attention to detail and follows project management methodology
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, preferably in Excel
    • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions
    • Knowledge and ability to use typical office equipment

Travel:

  • This position will be hybrid and require travel to Corporate Headquarters in Northern New Jersey at least 2X monthly
