Uptown Paw is hiring groomers!

We use the best locally hand crafted, hand delivered organic shampoos & conditioner products. We have all force dryers fluff dryers. We are cage free therefore no cage dryers must be all by hand, safety is priority, for pets and employees we don't take aggressive pets for saftey of all involved. All bookings done by front desk assoCoate, no need to worry about bookings.
we are known for our baths and fluffy beautiful fur and condition of skin. We have multiple tubs prima and bather box. Our grooming prices are competitve in the area and we offer luxury grooming which is reflected in the price of the grooms.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional dog grooming experience is required
• Must bring own clippers and sciccors rest is provided.
• Must be able to lift pups up to 75 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

• We offer hourly rates commision plus tips, $18-23 depending on skills

- Perform grooming services on various breeds of dogs and cats, including bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trimming.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to pet owners' requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the grooming services.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the grooming area, including sanitizing equipment and tools.
- Assist with kennel duties, such as feeding, walking, and cleaning up after pets.
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during the grooming process.
- Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history and any special instructions from the owners.

Skills:

- Previous experience as a pet groomer or completion of a grooming program is required.
- Strong knowledge of different dog and cat breeds and their specific grooming needs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Ability to handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their safety throughout the grooming process.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (e.g., lifting large dogs onto grooming tables).
- Attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming techniques and styles.
