Puppers Pawlor is a local groomer-owned and operated business. We have two brand new fully outfitted mobile salons and are looking to add another experienced groomer to our team!

Our goal is to equip our groomers with the tools and supplies they need in order to make their day as easy and stress free as possible, while providing our customer with the top-notch service that separates us from other mobile groomers. Mobile grooming tends to cater to older and anxious dogs and we are able to be much more accommodating than a typical brick and mortar salon. That being said, we are looking for a patient groomer willing to put in the extra effort in order to provide care for pups some salons may turn away!

We do not require our groomers to bring or use any of their own tools, and we cover all of the daily operating fees in regards to operating a mobile salon (gas, supplies, etc..). We also handle scheduling and most customer acquisitions.

Our optimal candidate would be someone with at least 2 years of grooming experience, as well at at least 1 year of haircutting experience (we are willing to train and fine tune your skills if needed!). At this time, the haircut experience is a MUST! We are looking for someone with flexible availability and willing to work weekends. Due to the nature of mobile grooming, shift start and ends times may vary day to day, but generally our shifts are either 6:45-1:30 or 1:30-8:30pm.

You MUST have a valid drivers license and will also need to pass a drivers background check before employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide mobile pet grooming services to clients in one of our vans.
- Handle and groom various types of dogs with care and attention to their specific needs.
- Perform hair styling and grooming services according to client preferences and breed standards.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pups during grooming sessions, including proper restraint techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming environment, including equipment sterilization and sanitation.
- Utilize pet care knowledge to address any health or behavioral concerns during grooming sessions.
- Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Adhere to schedules and appointments, managing time efficiently to accommodate multiple clients.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport dogs into and around van.
- Drive to different locations to provide grooming services.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma
• 2 Year Dog Grooming Experience
• 1 Year Dog Haircut Experience
• Valid Drivers License
• Pass Drivers History Background Check
• Ability to lift 60lbs and groom dogs over 100lbs

PAY

• Hourly $18-$23 depending on experience
• Tips- with tips included pay will be around $25-$35 / hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
