Upstream Rehabilitation is Hiring an Office Coordinator - Insurance Auth preferred. (Tucson Orthopaedic) Near Tucson, AZ

Integrity Rehab Group (IRG) is an industry leading therapy management company that partners with physician practices across the nation. IRG partners with Tucson Orthopaedic Institute  to offer exceptional outpatient orthopedic therapy services to the Tucson, AZ Community. We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to fill our available Office Coordinator position.

What is an Office Coordinator?

  • An Office Coordinator is the first person to greet our patients, assisting with insurance, patient referrals, and scheduling questions.
  • Our Office Coordinators have excellent customer service skills and are capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is crucial in this role to ensure our clinics operate with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Office Coordinators build strong patient rapport and help in the patient recovery process. This is reported to be one of their greatest job highlights.

Job Duties Include:

  • Working knowledge of our electronic health records system
  • Greeting patients in a friendly, supportive manner
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Scheduling new and reoccurring appointments
  • Verifying insurance coverage and obtaining insurance authorizations
  • Collecting patient payments and balancing end of day
  • Keeping an organized workspace
  • Participating in training programs and staff meetings
  • Data entry
  • Other duties as assigned
