Upstream Brewing Company is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host Supervisor to join our team. As a Host Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing our guests with an outstanding dining experience while managing employees and pace effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Manage employees and pace of seating in the restaurant to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
• Oversee the host/hostess team, providing clear direction and guidance.
• Train new hosts/hostesses on company policies and procedures.
• Monitor customer flow and manage seating arrangements to maximize efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any guest concerns or complaints.
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless operations.
• Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and employee growth.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station at all times.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry required.
• 1 year in a host/hostess position preferred.
• 1 year experience with OpenTable and/or other reservation platforms preferred but not required.
• Friday and Saturday afternoon/evening availability required.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations with ease.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in using reservation and seating management software.
• Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends.
