Upstate University Hospital is Hiring a Secretarial Call Center and Medical Receptionist Staff Supervisor Near Syracuse, NY
Job Summary:
Coordinate all office and secretarial support functions of department groups and sub-specialties
Assists management in areas such as recruiting, training, HR related matters and data analysis
Responsible for efficient operation of all administrative/secretarial support functions of various secretarial teams Manages issues and interprets office operating policies and procedures
Prepares reports including conclusions and recommendations for solutions to administrative issues
Oversees approximately 15-20 staff and prepares annual performance evaluations for each individual, meeting with individual at a 6 month and 12 month intervals
Coordinates coverage for various teams
Meets weekly with individual teams in huddle format
Prepares agendas for quarterly meetings and provides agenda items for monthly supervisory meetings
Performs various staff audits and reports results to Manager
Responsible for service recovery
Other duties and tasks as needed and directed by Supervisor or Team Leader.
Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree or pertinent college level courses and four years of administrative/office management experience including supervisory experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications: EMR experience preferred. Proficient in a variety of office software including but not limited Microsoft Windows, Outlook, EPIC EMR. Able to work independently.
