A Certified Nurse's Aide, or "CNA", helps patients with activities of daily living (bathing, eating, walking, etc.) and other healthcare needs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

CNAs are an integral part of our facility. Often, a position as a CNA can lead to a lifetime career in healthcare.

Hudson Park is a 200 bed skilled nursing facility on Northern Blvd in Albany. We are taking applications for our Resident Assistant (RA) program. As an RA, you will learn the basic skills to help residents with daily ADL tasks. If you decide this is the field you would like to work in, and we decide you are a good fit for the facility, we will provide you with all the education and training needed to become a CNA! You will be paid a wage while learning and the training is provided at no cost to you!

Requirements:

• High School or GED highly recommended.
• Ability to work as a team and take direction from supervisors and peers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A desire to learn.

Notes:

• There is no cost for the program. You will be paid minimum wage while learning.
• You must be able to work an 8 hours shift between 7am and 10pm.
• When you graduate, CNAs work an 8 hour shift; 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am.
• You will be expected to remain at the facility as a CNA for 1 year following the program.
• There is no start date for the CNA training at this time, so you would be expected to continue working as an RA until a date is set.
