Program Specialist, full time with full benefits, responsible for assisting our resident-Neighbors to understand, engage, and progress through the program by motivating, prompting, and training such skills as memory compensation, schedule-keeping, way finding, emotional self-regulation, social interaction, and self-advocacy. The ideal candidate will be energetic, even-tempered, an excellent communicator, able to project personal warmth, to speak plainly, and who enjoys helping others help themselves. May be required to perform physical intervention. Having personal interests and hobbies not focused on the job, outside of work, is a plus. Being able to accept constructive criticism, think independently, keep promises, and adhere to policies is a must. Must also be equally comfortable speaking one-on-one and to groups.

Requirements: HS diploma and at least one year associated experience in health care or educational environment required; AA degree preferred.
