Program Specialist-Full Time 

Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation and community re-entry facility in Lake Katrine, NY (near Kingston, NY), specializing in Acquired Brain Injury, Neurobehavioral Disorders, Complex Medical Recovery, Ventilator Care and Ventilator Weaning.

We are one of the largest brain injury treatment programs in the world, a facility where talented people are given the opportunity to use their special skills, be creative and sometimes push the envelope.

Responsibilities: Assisting our resident-Neighbors to understand, engage, and progress through the program by motivating, prompting, and training such skills as memory compensation, schedule-keeping, way finding, emotional self-regulation, social interaction, and self-advocacy.

Requirements: An AA degree or experience in a health care environment preferred. HS diploma. Energetic, even-tempered, a good communicator able to speak plainly, able to project personal warmth, who enjoys helping others help themselves. Having personal interests and hobbies not focused on the job, outside of work, is a plus. Being able to accept constructive criticism, think independently, keep promises, and adhere to policies.
