Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires strong multitasking abilities and a friendly demeanor.
Duties:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Check identification to ensure customers meet legal drinking age requirements
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register or POS system
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Knowledge of catering services is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer complaints effectively
- Familiarity with retail math for calculating discounts, tips, and sales tax
