Principal Functions of the Position:

Responsible for providing daily regional warehouse and inside sales support for the branch operations. These duties include multiple responsibilities and backup support for the branch operation including but not limited to incoming sales calls and contacts, data input, coordinating inventory and stocking operations, order pulling and/or other project support functions as directed by the Branch Manager or other members of the Unverferth management team. Travel opportunities to trade shows and training will be available.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily telephone support functions for incoming sales calls
  • Perform periodic inventory checks om all tires, wheels and warehouse stock
  • Provide daily data entry, and document filing

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Printing and keying off daily shipments
  • Provide daily face to face support for sales
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Pull up daily UPS and LTL orders from warehouse inventory.
  • Assist in maintaining acceptable housekeeping for the office and warehouse areas
  • Travel to assist with trave show and various training events (10%)

Pre- Requisitions:

  • An associates degree in agricultural business, business administration, sales and marketing or other related fields of study.
    • Equivalent work experience can be in place of education
  • A clean driving record
  • Have the ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Previous experience or familiarity in customer service or shipping and receiving functions.
  • Pervious experience or familiarity in working with outside customers or vendors.
  • Proficient written, verbal and telephone communication skills
  • Perficient PC computer skills and hands on familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
