The University of New Mexico, College of Population Health (COPH) invites applications for a Research Scientist 3.
Under general supervision, employs a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in a particular field of specialization to plan, coordinate, and conduct research. The Research Scientist 3 will be working with two national federal research projects, the national NiH ComPASS grant (led by Shannon Sanchez-Youngman) and the national PCORI Engage for Equity PLUS contract (led by Nina Wallerstein and Shannon Sanchez-Youngman). Both research projects involve research scientist needs on Community Based Participatory Research and Community Engaged Research efforts nationally, involving collaborations between academic institutions, community organizations, and other governmental and community sectors. The projects also involve research capacity technical assistance to community and academic partners, with experience in community based participatory research capacity workshops and training.
