The Department of OB-GYN seeks an individual withexceptional customer service skills to join our team. In the CustomerService—Department Purchasing role, you’ll bring your passion for deliveringoutstanding service, your problem-solving abilities and your friendly demeanerto create a positive and efficient experience for our faculty, staff andlearners.
In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring thesmooth operation of the Department’s financial activities. Yourresponsibilities will include processing transactions like food orders, Amazonpurchases and travel while maintaining records in our Departmental systems andUNM’s Chrome River. You'll be the go-to person for all purchases made with aDepartment credit card. You’ll serve as the point person for processingreimbursement requests and you’ll process and distribute monthly reports.
The ideal candidate will have strong and effectivecommunication skills, both verbal and written. Exceptional problem solvingskills and the ability to independently analyze, research and resolve issuesare a must. This includes the ability to think critically, adapt to changingcircumstances and collaborate with colleagues to address complex problemsefficiently. The work hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.This position may be eligible for a hybrid remote work schedule aftersuccessful completion of the probation period.
