The Department of Dermatology is seeking a professional,detail-oriented Accountant II who possesses strong problem solving andcommunication skills to interact with faculty and staff at all levels. We areoffering an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated individual who enjoysworking as part of the team in a culture of collegiality.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for managingunrestricted and restricted funds to include completing and entering budgets,monitoring and monthly reconciliation of indexes, preparing and updatingmonthly projection reports and other financial reports. Reviewing and approvingfinancial transactions such as PCard reconciliations, reimbursements,requisitions and journal vouchers. Processing financial transactions such aslabor redistributions, journal vouchers, coordination and preparation ofregularly scheduled and special billings. Prepare and process mid-yearprojections, annual budgets and end of year reconciliation. Provide guidanceand support to faculty and staff in regards to accounting related issues andUNM policies and procedures.
