Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide direct support and care to individuals in need. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the well-being of our clients. This position requires experience in home care, dementia care, nursing homes, social work, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities: - Provide direct support and care to individuals with various needs - Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel - Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding - Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship - Accompany clients to medical appointments or other outings as needed - Maintain accurate documentation of client care and progress Skills: - Experience in direct support and care for individuals with diverse needs - Knowledge of home care practices and procedures - Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies - Understanding of nursing home protocols and regulations - Proficient in social work principles and practices - Ability to monitor vital signs accurately - Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
